Let the river take you within

Meditation is offered at the temple twice daily, at sunrise and sunset. You can also attend the daily vedic rituals or explore your own practice during the quiet hours.

The benefits of mediation are well-recognized and include stress relief, the removal of inner blocks, transformation of negative tendencies and an activation of deep healing. However, as those who have tried can attest, it is not always easy to enter a true meditative state.

The pranic energy flowing in the external world is intensified on the banks of sacred rivers like the Ganges and the Narmada, manifesting learning ability, and unfolding spiritual understanding. Because of the intensification in these locations, the unity of the universal and the individual prana is likewise amplified. The practitioner can thus grow, enter into and benefit from a deep state of meditation much more easily.
